*AGATHA
Agatha, popularly known as Schols by her friends hails from St Lucia where she spent her early life shaming all the boys in her class by beating them hands down in academics - well, after all, her maiden name is Scholar (hence Schols). Her father, Stanley Scholar, was then a rising star in the Police force and was seconded to the Force in Barbdos to teach at the Regional Training Centre.
This meant that the entire Scholar family moved to Barbados for a number of years.
Schols remembers with fondness playing with her siblings all over the runway at the old Seawell airport (now the Grantley Adams International). She also started her medical training at the Mona Campus of UWI (where she first met the Bajan boy who eventually stole her heart). She graduated with the Class of 74 and returned to Barbados where she completed her internship before going off to work in Zambia for a short period.
